Dan Hoyumpa, MD
Education
Dan Hoyumpa, MD has called San Antonio his home city since 1982. He completed his undergrad at Baylor University before completing medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas. He did an internship in general surgery at Wilford Hall Medical Center on Lackland Air Force Base and later did his family medicine residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.
Dr. Hoyumpa served twelve years on active duty with the US Air Force and had multiple deployments as a flight surgeon. Additionally, he has sixteen years of experience in primary care and another ten years as a full-time emergency medicine physician.
I recently had my first visit with Dr. Dan Hoyumpa, MD at Texan Family Clinic, and I couldn't be happier with the experience.
